What if I placed an order, but I'm not sure that I paid?

WHAT IS PAYPAL?

PayPal is the credit card authorization service that processes our customers' credit card purchases on PayPal's secure site. The #1 payment method on eBay, PayPal is also used by thousands of web stores because of its security and consumer protections. PayPal is always free to buyers.

PayPal works like every other authorization service when you use a credit card, but PayPal has additional security features.

When you give payment information at PayPal's site, please type only your billing address when asked for an address, even if you want your order shipped elsewhere.

"Verified" or "Unverified" account status at PayPal refers to an optional service that permits you to use funds from your checking account to pay for purchases. It is not necessary to get your checking account "Verified" if you simply want to pay for your Love That Cat order with a credit card.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY ORDER VIA PAYPAL?

Most customers pay while filling out the Love That Cat Store's order form. On the Billing Information page, make sure you click USING PAYPAL SERVICE. On the Order Confirmation page, make sure you click the PAYPAL CHECK OUT button, which connects you to the PayPal site. If you didn't click these buttons on the order form, you can pay for your order directly at PayPal if you wish (click here to see how).

PAYPAL SIGN UP TIPS:

First-time PayPal users complete a short credit card information form which helps ensure they are authorized to use the credit card being used.

PayPal wants to know the address where you receive your monthly credit card bill (while Love That Cat wants to know where to ship your order). When using PayPal, please type only your billing address when asked for an address, even if you want your order shipped elsewhere.

Information about your checking account is not needed. PayPal's text about "Verified" and "Unverified" status refers to an optional PayPal feature that enables you to use your checking account to pay for merchandise on the web. A verified checking account is not needed if you simply want to use your credit card to pay for a Love That Cat Store order.

WHAT IF I PLACED AN ORDER, BUT I'M NOT SURE THAT I PAID?

You might want to print out the following information:

It may be you didn't click the "PayPal Check Out" button on the Love That Cat order form. Clicking that button takes you to the PayPal site for payment. (If you came to this information page from the Love That Cat order form, return to the order form by clicking your browser's BACK button until you get to the order form).

To check whether you actually paid, look for a "Receipt for Your Payment" email message in your mailbox. PayPal sends such a message each time a payment is made at their site. The message will be from a PayPal email address, and it will say something like "This message confirms that you sent $16.44 to lovethatcat.com." The message will also include a clickable link to your PayPal account where you can see more details about the transaction.

If you are a PayPal member, another way to see whether you made a payment to the Love That Cat Store is by going to PayPal at www.paypal.com. Then log in and click My Account.

If you did not pay for your order yet, you can pay any time you wish by going directly to PayPal at www.paypal.com. First you need to contact us to get our PayPal ID. Then follow these steps:

    . Follow the instructions for New User if you're not already a PayPal
      member. (If you are already a member, log in).
    . Click Send Money.
    . For Recipient's Address, you will need to contact us first.
    . Type the amount of your order and type your invoice number.
    . When asked for your address at PayPal, always type in your billing address, even if you want your order shipped elsewhere.

WHAT IF I DON'T WANT TO USE PAYPAL?

If you prefer, you can pay for your order by check or money order made payable to Allium/LTC, PO Box 5752, Takoma Park, MD 20913. Write your order number on the check or m.o.
